Thai massage has been practiced for over 2,000 years. The techniques used are designed to stimulate the flow of energy through the body, releasing toxins that could potentially block the Sen lines and unbalance the equilibrium of a healthy pain free body.
The masseurs feet, palms, thumbs, elbows and knees are used in this ancient technique. The method is used to apply deep pressure along the Sen lines. Other movements twist or stretch the body in a similar manner to a Yoga workout.
